Waxing Hair Removal
Waxing is
the method of removing hair from the root with a semi permanent result
.After 4-6 weeks from the previous removal new hair will re-grow. In short waxing
is the temporary method of removing hair from our body.
Waxing originated
in Egypt in 1150 BC it was reported that the bodies of women in Rameses Harem
were smooth & hairless. It is possible that body waxing was
practiced earlier in Egypt dating back to 3000 BC. Most areas of concern were
legs & underarms.

EPILATION

means removal of hair including the part below the skin.

waxing, epilation devices, lasers, threading, IPL etc.
DEPILATION
Depilation
means removal of hair from the surface of skin.
Examples: -
depilatory creams, shaving etc.

Hydro
soluble wax is the normal wax which is made of sugar or honey and it is water
soluble.
LIPOSOLUBLE
WAX
Liposoluble
wax is oil soluble and are made up of natural resin extracts and vegetables
oil. They are colophony free. Colophony is resin obtained from plant. It is
well recognised as a skin
sensitizer and makes the wax more sticky. This wax is good for sensitive skin.

PROCEDURE
Clean the area to be epilated with pre wax lotion.
Keep the skin dry
and analyse the direction of the hair.
Check the working temperature of wax on the inner wrist
before applying.
Hold the skin tight and apply a thin layer of wax to the
direction of hair growth.
Stick the wax strip and press firmly.
Hold the skin tightly and remove the wax strip with a firm
action against the direction of hair growth.
Apply post lotion and clean the area.
